Final Weekend Preview

The final weekend is so nearly among us, and although many believe the race was dusted as the Scouser's inevitably failed to do us a favour, we will still nonetheless be delightfully boosted by the recovered Rooney and recovering Rio; who missed Sunday's victory over Sunderland. Either way, we're in it till the death, and if you're a fan of online betting you can be constantly be assured that Fergie's boys will give everything on the field to get the victory.

Rooney's return - having just recovered from an ankle injury and after missing the Tottenham game with some 'groin discomfort - will no doubt increase United's expectations at destroying Stoke. And Rio, who could also return for this Sunday’s final game after recovering from that groin injury that he suffered away to Blackburn, will be a welcomed addition, as we hope to end the campaign with a clean-sheet on top of the win.

There is still the slimmest air of hope; as Martinez's prepare to take on Chelsea - making all the right noises in the process (with Chelsea old boy Melchiot claiming in the back of one of today's tabloids that they don't fear opponents in the slightest).

A Chelsea defeat or a draw will see us clinch the top spot...assuming our home tie against Stoke ends with 3 points in the bag; yet although Wigan battered them 3-1 at the DW in September, with Chelsea in this mood, you feel it will take alot more than some bold words from an ex-player to beat them.

Our resolve, determination and desire is clearly prevalent through to the end. And although that may not be enough this season, it is genuinly all we ever ask for...and set's us up beautifully for the next campaign.

We'll never die!
