Tevez the twat, Ronnie the Red and Ribery the...Red?

After all the 'what-a-dick-Ronaldo-is-for-leaving' hype surrounding this summer, it appears that it's United's favourite South American son - with that utterly die-hard attitude that won us all over - who has turned out to be the absolute twat; making the petulant, stroppy lady-boy's departure seem rather genuine and gracious in comparison.
The reasons as to why a player would leave your club - especially a club at the top - are always concerning, regardless of how much you loved or loathed the player. It is always something fan’s and, undoubtedly, the world's media question, as why would anyone want to leave a club like United? Well, for Ronaldo, his dream was always Madrid. As a boy, and a complete mummy’s boy at that, he (and his mum) wanted Madrid almost as much as Keegan would ‘lov it’ if he beat us; however, unlike Kev, he eventually got his request. His open desire to leave and the constant flirting with Madrid between the summers of '08 and '09 are surely forever unforgivable, yet his dealing with the situation - one of unbelievable pressure as the most expensive player in the world at only 24 - was mature and, more than anything, respectful to his former employers and the great years he had as a red. Speaking about the boss: “My relationship with him always was and will always be very good". And the club: “I think about my former team-mates and bosses. I had a great relationship with them for six years. My team-mates respect my decision”. Tevez on the other hand has been the opposite; shouting his mouth off about being misled, mistreated, and, most embarrassingly, whining about Ferguson not calling him for a chat over the 2 years. Oh, and also the minor fact that he’s signed for City and betrayed those very fan's that used to love him. What a nonse.
We tried hard to keep him - around £100,000-a-week - yet, as he swims in his pool full of Arabian Dollar’s - around £150,000-a-week - he insists that: "Money has never been important. Having a coach who wants me and who wants to play me, having a good fanbase and an environment in which I am happy - these are the important things to me”. Your new manager might want you Carlos, but he also wants every half decent striker playing in the Premiership. He’s winged about being disrespected when Berba was brought in? Well good luck getting a game with Robinho, Santa Cruz and Adebayor in the same squad.
Ronaldo and Tevez both wanted to leave United, for different reasons, and they got what they wanted. Where as Ronaldo is more than happy to respect and appreciate the experience, help and development gained at United as he moves on, Tevez just wants the world to know how unhappy he thinks he was in the 2 years he was winning back-to-back titles, a Carling Cup, a European cup and a World Club Cup at United. Because Ferguson didn’t call him.
On another note, Fergie has called a halt on United’s ludicrously extravagant spending spree this summer. I really don’t want to comment much on this bull shit, because that’s exactly what it is, but I think everyone, Red or Blue, knows that we DEFINITELY need to spend more to at least maintain the same standards as the last two seasons. Where Owen might be an OK replacement for Tevez, we have no clear replacement for Ronaldo, and that is exactly what we need; regardless of Ferguson's tight-arse tactics. If you insist that this Ronaldo money is for spending, and not for helping out our debt, then for fuck’s sakes man pull your finger out. Just plunge 70mill of it into Ribery and be done with it! Bayern claim he’s completely untouchable? Well at least test them with a proper bid and see how they deal with turning down that sort of money.
